Art Fusion at the studio
Some more art fusion today w/ Cecilia and Joe.. a few images of some from Joe and Christine and I as well.. Working with charcoal.. getting a little better each time. We each draw for 5 mins then swap – so about 20 mins per person on each piece is the end result. This type of drawing helps us with our tattoo drawing skills.
Art Fusion
Was slow at the tattoo studio yesterday so we (Joe, Kris, and I) decided to try our hand at Fusion drawing. I think we had an “interesting” time. We Each drew for 5 minutes on each piece then rotated 4 times. So each piece was worked on a total of 20 minutes by each artist. We used Charcoal on newsprint.
Paul Jeffery
Hi Charles,
I don’t mind at all if you want to use some pictures for your website, feel free to use any you want. I will def post some feedback as your book has really helped me understand my machines more and tune them to suit my own style. I will also take a look at your machines as I am currently searching for the Holy Grail of ”Guns”. It is very true what you state in your book about Tattoo artists taking offense with the term Tattoo Gun, I am currently having great fun watching artists reactions when I say it.
Thanks for the feedback.
Kind regards Paul

Color Tattoo – Rose
Color Tattoo – Lotus
Color Tattoo – Rose on Hand
Here is a tattoo I am currently in Progress with. It is going to be a full sleeve with a Rose on the hand and two female portraits going up the arm – some gaps of skin in there right now – will have filler and blend. These photos show the first session of the flower.
I used Spearman needles, Dynamic and Starbrite pigments, and SOFIA & Co. Tattoo machines
Wood Cut
Here is a 20″ x 20″ wood cut I have been working on…
It is a portrait of a woman from the 1920s I just found randomly. It is important as a tattoo artist to try to expand to new mediums – this is the 2nd wood cut I have done.
